“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
- Brené Brown
Caroline is a professional counsellor and psychotherapist with a heartfelt commitment to walking alongside individuals—especially women and youth—as they navigate trauma, identity, and emotional healing. She creates a warm, safe, and affirming space where clients can explore their inner world, work through painful pasts, and rediscover a sense of purpose and wholeness.
A Journey Shaped by Empathy
Caroline’s therapeutic lens is deeply informed by her own lived experiences. Growing up in a traditional Asian household where sons were favoured and success was narrowly defined, she grappled with feelings of inadequacy and invisibility. These early struggles gifted her a deep empathy for those who feel unseen, unheard, or disconnected from their self-worth.
Since 2011, Caroline has also been journeying with women in Cambodia who have experienced trauma, supporting them in rebuilding their lives and breaking intergenerational cycles of pain. These encounters have reinforced her belief that healing is not only personal—it has the power to ripple through families and entire communities.
From the Corporate World to Personal Transformation
Caroline began her career in Organizational & Industrial Psychology in London before moving into global roles in consumer behaviour, marketing, and public affairs. Her time in the corporate world gave her rich insight into human motivation, identity, and the narratives we live by—insights she now uses to help clients rewrite their own stories toward healing and self-empowerment.
Therapeutic Focus & Approach
Caroline believes every individual is uniquely created with value, purpose, and the capacity to heal. Her therapy is integrative, client-centred, and trauma-informed. She draws from modalities such as:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
-
Christian Counselling
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Narrative Therapy
-
Multichannel Eye Movement Integration (MEMI)
She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, caregiver fatigue, burnout, identity confusion, and autism-related challenges. Her approach is both evidence-based and deeply human—grounded in presence, compassion, and collaboration.
Life Beyond Therapy
Outside of therapy, Caroline recharges through hiking, playing the keyboard, and creative crafts. She is a devoted mother of three and shares her home with a spirited golden retriever named Mazzy. Her personal and professional life is a reflection of her belief in courage, connection, and the healing power of relationship.
